What is this project about?

A replacement for FreeBSD's sysinstall would be nice. Therefore sysinstall2. No.. Actually this started as a small ruby experiment our of boredom. I hope you like it :-)

• detect dependency circularities.
• skip already installed packages.
• measure total-size before fetching the package.
• determine installation order (depth first search).
• ftp-media.
• unittesting of many things.
• experiments with a GUI frontend (fxruby).

What is your opinion?

Yes there other sysinstall replacements around!
